I just stumbled upon this film today and I'm wondering why I haven't heard of it before. I really like the character and environment designs. The animation in the trailer looks pretty good as well. I'm still trying to scrounge up some more info on this film so I'll post more later. Until then check out the film's website and trailer (unfortunately it's all in Spanish)

Nocturna has been released in Spain last year with a very bad launch. It really deserved something more and its really worth to watch. Script and story are so nice. I personally think its a very well crafted film. Deeply recommended. I don't know when its gonna be released in the US, but Im sure it will. The English audio track is already there on the DVD though.
Donkey-Xote is from the same studio. Some cool stuff in there, like the marvellous matte paintings. Story is so so. So is animation.. good shots and very crap ones.. but I still have to watch it finished and Im quite curious too. We'll see!!
Saw your working on Christmas Carol. Sounds great! ..can't wait for a trailer then..
